Americans must now give up and accept what the powerful are doing

Three months before US voters go to the polls, the presidential election is all over. Americans must resign themselves to a second Trump term. Why? Because the sitting president is too senile to hold office but will not step aside, while Trump has become a literal savior because he didn’t die in an assassination attempt by a lone 20-year-old. Instead, Trump saw the opportunity to make himself an icon by raising his fist in the air as they pulled him off the stage with a bloody ear.

We had Trump in office for a full four years. Did he act like a real leader? Not hardly. He appointed sycophant after sycophant who flattered him. He dropped “the mother of all bombs” on a beloved Iranian commander who wasn’t threatening us. He said he “loved” Julian Assange but he didn’t set him free. He didn’t pardon Snowden who revealed the sick, illegal hidden agenda of the technocrats. He gave his extremely suspect son-in-law great power, and revealed that he is a Zionist who will support Israel in its genocide of the people whose land they continue to steal.

This is the cartoon version of reality that the powerful want the American electorate to accept. Yes, it’s complete bullshit. Yes, Americans should wake up and refuse to accept it. There is a real alternative to this duopoly clown show — Dr. Jill Stein, a pro-peace, pro-worker, pro-planet candidate who is already on the ballot in the majority of states. Where she isn’t yet on the ballot, she is facing a disgraceful attempt to use an army of lawyers and intimidation tactics to keep her silent in our allegedly “free” country.

The argument against voting for Jill Stein has always been that it will only help Trump get re-elected. But now the Democrats are admitting that they’ve misplayed their hand and Trump will have an unprecedented blow-out in November. So now what is their argument for not voting for Jill Stein and the Green Party?

It’s vital that Americans understand this simple fact: the story served up by government and corporate media is pure propaganda. It’s not true; it’s not even partly true. It’s a shameless lie and we still have the power to refuse it. The people in power would like to make our elections a charade that masks what they are really doing — buying up our farmland and water; surveilling us via satellites, cell phones, and the internet; turning every aspect of reality into a “token” that can be traded by the powerful for more profit; and spending all our tax dollars on wars and genocide while never taxing themselves.

We still technically have a “democracy” but it’s slipping away fast. Every movie and TV show we watch has some version of “the little person” who stands up to power and wins. But meanwhile, out here in “real reality,” we never stand up and never win. Instead, we watch endless entertainment while our pockets are picked, day after day.

In the midst of our duopoly clown show, there is one genuine candidate left on the ballot, and it’s not RFK Jr. You can contribute to Jill Stein’s campaign, volunteer to work for her, and push Big Brother back. Or you can do nothing and the next time we have an “election” it will be a complete farce with no one there to save us from the coming centralized nightmare.

Fortunately or unfortunately, it’s now that simple.
